In order to create conditions for activating selected measures of fisheries market regulation and gradually transpose key EU legislation governing this area, the PLAC II Project has assisted the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection in drafting of the new Law on Structural support and Market Organisation in Fisheries Sector.
In cooperation with the Ministry, a workshop was organised on 22nd June 2017. The PLAC II project expert, Sean Mariott, presented Draft Law that is harmonised with the relevant EU legislation. The Law will serve as the basis for the creation of by-laws in this area.
