Prevention Measures Against Coronavirus in Reception and Asylum Centers

Prevention measures against COVID-19 are being implemented in all reception centers and asylum centers. Personal protection measures are also practiced, wearing masks, washing and disinfecting hands, reacting in case of the slightest symptom.

At the centers, migrants are informed daily about the situation related to the coronavirus pandemic in the world, the region and in Serbia, as well as about the measures that our health system is implementing in order to prevent the spread of this dangerous virus.

Migrants are aware of the dangers. They behave responsibly and are ready not only to help maintain hygiene in the centers, but some of them offer to make their knowledge and services available to health and local authorities in Serbia. Masks are sewn in many centers, and police services are organized to control the implementation of measures together with the employees of the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration.

The photographs show the measures being implemented at the Asylum Center in Sjenica and the Reception Center in Bosilegrad.
