There are 11 companies in Serbia registered to export fish and processed fish to the EU: Yuhor, Carnex, Neoplanta, DTD ribarstvo, Ancora Nuova, Vasović doo, Kristal SO, Tunalux, Principal duo and Barbe Seafood. Through the Legal Support the Negotiations project, the European Union supports Serbia so that companies can import, process and export fish and fishery products legally to the EU.

For exports of fish and fishery products to the EU, it is necessary to have a registered facility for processing fish, veterinary certificates and catch certificate.

Mirjana Miščević, Secretary of the Fisheries Group within the Serbian Chamber of Commerce announced that the Section for fish processing will be established soon.
