Let / Flight

The flight is a metaphor for the journey of a man forced to flee his own country, but full of faith in a better future and hope to find a home again in a new place.

“Flight” is also the name of the exhibition of art objects signed by the asylum seeker Bilal Farho, whose works are already well known to the people of Obrenovac.

In the premises of the SKC gallery in Obrenovac, in the period from October 24 to November 7, 2022, people were able to view the works of artist whose inspiration is birds, primarily falcons, and everything they represent.

Bilal is accommodated in the Obrenovac Asylum Center, whose functioning, as well as other accommodation facilities for migrants and refugees in Serbia, is supported by the European Union.
