The EU funded project POLICY AND LEGAL ADVICE CENTRE – PLAC 4 started its implementation in June 2024.
After the Inception period during Summer 2024, in the beginning of September 2024 the first project Steering Committee was held in the premises of Ministry of European Integration which is the main project beneficiary with representatives of European Union Delegation present.
The project’s specific objective is to achieve a high level of effective alignment of national legislation with the Union acquis and its implementation.
The activities are divided in two components: 1. enhancing the compatibility of national legislation with EU legislation and its effective implementation, and 2. enhancing the capacities of relevant national structure for the successful carrying out of accession negotiation. At the meeting the members of the PLAC 4 project team presented the project Inception report with the project’s workplan.
Based on approved Inception report and project’s workplan the Project team will start intensive implementation of activities in September 2024.
The duration of the project is 30 months with the contracted value 2,4 M EUR.
The project is financed by the European Union and implemented by the consortium led by IBF International.
