{"id":8665,"date":"2017-04-11T14:11:39","date_gmt":"2017-04-11T13:11:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/euinfo.rs\/plac2\/?p=8665"},"modified":"2018-04-23T08:37:18","modified_gmt":"2018-04-23T07:37:18","slug":"zdravstvena-bezbednost-igracaka-kozmetickih-proizvoda-i-materijala-u-kontaktu-sa-hranom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/euinfo.rs\/plac2\/en\/zdravstvena-bezbednost-igracaka-kozmetickih-proizvoda-i-materijala-u-kontaktu-sa-hranom\/","title":{"rendered":"Health safety of toys, cosmetics and food contact materials"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The legislation on health safety of products of general use is covered by three negotiating chapters: health safety of cosmetics falls within Chapter 28 \u2013 Consumer and Health Protection; health safety of food contact materials falls within Chapter 12 \u2013 Food Safety, Veterinary and Phytosanitary Policy and safety of toys within Chapter 1 \u2013 Free movement of goods.<\/p>\n<p>In order to familiarise around 30 representatives of relevant beneficiary institutions with the legal framework in this area, the workshop \u201cTransposition and implementation of EU legislation relating to<br \/>\nthe health safety of products of general use (toys, cosmetics and food contact materials)<br \/>\n\u2013 challenge for competent body and business entities\u201d was organised on 21 March.<\/p>\n<p>The beneficiary institutions include the Ministry of Health, laboratories, Institute for standardisation of Serbia, Accreditation Body of Serbia, Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, Chamber of Commerce-Association of Chemical, Rubber and Non Metal Industry, and Association of Food Industry, as well as Sanitary Inspectors.<\/p>\n<p>Bojan Vidovic, the Legal Support for Negotiations project expert, presented the analysis of the level of compliance of Serbian legislation with EU legislation in the area of products of general use to the participants. Afterwards he presented the experience of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Croatia in the transposition and implementation of EU legislation in this area.
